The Queer Spirit team

I worked for the first parts of my life in the scientific world and I have a love of “first principles”, of going back to the root of something and trying to connect with its “divine essence”.  This gives me a blend that means I can be very spiritual yet also very practical and as such I love to get out and “do” in ways that people find engaging, supporting and safe yet inspiring.

I work with tantra, energy and sex and have been described as having an inner peace that spreads to those around me, a gently persuasive manner and the ability to create welcoming and non-judgemental spaces where people feel free to let go, to be themselves (often discovering new parts of them they didn't even know were there.)

I've been involved with creating, running and holding tantra spaces for men that love men for over five years, both with other groups and also through Buzzy Tantra.

In 2013 I founded the Quintasensual festival of queer/inclusive spirituality, sexuality and tantra which has been running an annual festival ever since, creating a special place where gay men, straight couples, cross dressers, bisexuals, trans and more all mix in a safe and heart centred space.  In 2015 I was honoured to be nominated for a Sexual freedom award for my work around the festival.

In my work offering tantra to others I have become aware of how allowing ourselves to connect with the energy rather than the physicality of others, one can experience a blissful aliveness with everyone.  We can even extend that and allow ourselves to "orgasmically" connect to the planet, and doing so really helps us feel the beauty that we can share but also experience the pain that humanity is inflicting on mother Earth.

Queer Spirit 2019 Summer Festival - Wednesday 14th to Sunday 18th August 2019

The Queer Spirit team has several decades combined experience in working in and creating festivals, workshops and other events in the LGBT+ area.

We work to draw upon the knowledge and experience of others so as to create spaces that are amazing but also safe and held.
